Location right next to the water, just four rooms so it’s relaxed and quiet. The room had everything you need. Extra shoutout to the host Darren, he is one of the most caring people I met. If you need anything, he will call people and drive around to help. Highly recommended!

Everything! The host, Darren was the best! He has all the insights you need about the island, the rooms and bathrooms are spacious, clean and cold from fan and AC. There is a little porch for each bungalow with a table and chairs over looking the Mekong. You can rent a bike from next door and have your laundry done.

Darren was a wonderful host, very knowledgeable about the island and can book onward travel for you. Peaceful stay. Free drinking water and clean and comfortable room

The location was fabulous, a short walk away from the main drag so it felt very peaceful. The beds are insanely comfortable, the aircon works really well, the property is kept really keen. Darren is an exceptional host always present and genuinely available, without being too much. His recommendations and desire for you to enjoy your holiday are second to none.

- Gigantic bed. Seriously you could sleep a family of five in that bed. (Not Americans though) - Darren the owner is a real character. And he knows everything you could possibly need to know about Don Det. There was a power cut and Darren made sure we had a flashlight. Lovely big bear of a dude. - Super quiet. Good sleep guaranteed.

- Toilet didn’t smell amazing. And that was before my stinker 5000. Also, the toilet paper could be improved.

This boutique guesthouse is cozy and welcoming. The owner is very helpful. The room is well-maintained condition.

Kind owner couldn't do enough for us. Genuinely cold water in the filter which is free. Worth noting this is a little guesthouse off the beaten track, as with everything on the island. High ratings are not for luxury, but for luxury in backpacking terms. If you're a backpacker, this is a very clean, very nice stay

There is an early check in fee, which is a little annoying since you've no control over arrival since the ferries over are controlled by locals. I totally understand, cost of air con is noticeable. But it was frustrating.
