Waterside Shepherds Hut

It was quiet and relaxing just what we wanted, the host's were friendly and welcoming, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

There was nothing not to like

A good well appointed shepherd hut. Warm, clean and great little extras provided. The owner was helpful and really nice.

Unfortunately the hut wasn't level. Made it a little strange when sleeping as you felt you were rolling out of bed. Otherwise perfect.

Great value, clean, friendly hosts, lovely area and the Hut was such a nice place to stay for something different. Bus stop 2 minute walk away too. Beautiful views and good shops etc. within good distance. Host was helpful with heating, electrics and advice and was very welcoming. Host did also try and help with the Wi-Fi but it's clearly just a proximity issue (I'd recommend an extender to be plugged in at the Hut). Overall great stay.

Wi-Fi was not good, could barely connect and had to use data most of the time. No blinds other than on main window meaning light came in from early hours (also felt a bit uncomfortable in terms of privacy). Also is very much close to the house meaning you do feel a bit like you're in someone's garden when the photos show it as more secluded.
