Whakaipo Bay Cabin Retreat Taupo

Beautiful location with amazing views overlooking the hills lake. The cabin itself had everything we needed. We enjoyed our nights curled up by the fire and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Absolute perfection. My partner and I stayed here three nights and were blown away with the hospitality, location and quality of every aspect of our stay. The place was spotless, the views were stunning, every tiny detail was just fabulous. We stayed for Christmas and Megan had even put up a little tree and crackers for us to use. There was chilled prosecco waiting in the fridge for us and a glass of that in the fabulous bath was just amazing. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked with every item you need and the bbq was so great to have too. The bed was 10/10 comfortable and the bean bags were a lovely touch to be able to sit reading out on the deck. If I could give this place 11/10 I would. It is a little beautiful pocket luxury and I cannot recommend it enough!!

Absolutely nothing. There is nothing to not like about this place. It was perfection.

Exceptional view, looks as if it was painted. Cabin is modern, huge shower , comfy bed . It is awesome to just sit on the deck and watch the sunset - or watch it from the bed …. Or tub

The view was spectacular, and the cabin, clean, comfortable and well appointed. Megan was easy to contact and made sure our access to the cabin was simple.
