Cosy Country Cottage on a Sunny Hill

Rustige locatie, maar helaas niet genoeg tijd in onze reisplanning om er optimaal van te genieten

Located a few mins out of New Plymouth on a farm, cows visited us, great views, everything at finger tips, very quiet and peaceful (even the cows). We left an iPad there and the owner posted it to Wellington for us before we flew home.

Self catering. Location lovely.

The property needs some cleaning up.outside. the garden was overgrown and neglected and there was various amounts of discarded tools, outdated chairs lying around. There was no laundry facilities.

Ein charmantes, gut ausgestattetes Cottage mit Kamin und genug Platz für 4 Personen. In der modernen offenen Küche lässt sich super kochen und es gab endlich mal eine vernünftige Möglichkeit der Mülltrennung.

Der Kamin macht das Apartment cosy, ist als Heizquelle aber auch nötig. Ums Haus herum ist es ziemlich verwildert.

The location was perfect! Close enough to the city to access the Todd Energy swimming pool, launderette, etc. But nicely enough "in the country" for peace and quiet. I love the thought and care that has gone into the interior of this property.

Exterior lighting - especially on the wooden stairs that get very wet when it rains.

It was close to the maunga. A beautiful country setting, great views, close to town and shops.

Nicely located close to New Plymouth and Taranaki mountain. Friendly owners. Good views. Lots of fun games and wood burner.

Windows didn't shut properly, which made it quite noisy on windy nights. Could do with bedside lights in the second bedroom, and generally with a more cosy/welcoming feel.
