Cosy Country Cottage on a Sunny Hill

The house was in a beautiful setting, absolutely stunning views. It was beautifully clean with more than we needed. We loved everything about it.

Peaceful location, beautiful sea view, very short drive (about 15 mins) to New Plymouth and about an hour from lots of fabulous Taranaki base walks. Wonderful spot for a relaxing break. The kitchen had everything you need for a relaxing stay, lovely complementary section of the fridge, which was kind. Selection of games and puzzles. I would imagine this would be super for a winter break, with the wood burner making it cosy

There is no air conditioning, we were there in summer and fortunately it wasn’t a traditional NZ summer as it may have been hard to sleep, but that just because I need a cold bedroom to sleep and it may not be a problem for others.

Great location, easy to get to and only a 15 minute trip to town by vehicle. Beautiful abode, clean, tidy and well stocked. Couldn't have asked for better!

The location and outlook was just beautiful and peaceful but still really close to everything.

The location of this property served us well as we had a car. The interior of the home was very clean and there was a nice view of the coast.

Exterior of this property does not serve the interior of the property well. Stairs up to the property with heavy bags was taxing - especially in the pouring rain. Overgrown grass made the stair lights ineffective. I was uncomfortable staying in what was clearly someone's home and the list of do's and don't's for staying there made for exhausting reading. Tried to light the burner stove as was cool but the timber left to use was not combustible.
