Foxglove Lodge with Hot Tub

We had such a beautiful stay at Foxglove Lodge with Hot Tub. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, clean, and well looked after. The lodge itself was spotless and really comfortable, making it easy to settle in straight away. Local shops were about a 20-minute drive away, which was manageable, and we even made a day trip to the beach, which is around an hour away, definitely worth it. We came back and cooked a lovely dinner together, and the lodge had everything we needed to make it feel like home. One of the highlights for us was the hot tub, especially in the morning with the sun shining. Sitting there with a cup of tea, soaking in the warmth and peaceful surroundings, was just perfect. Overall, it was the ideal place to relax, unwind, and enjoy quality time. We would definitely recommend. 10/10.

The only thing we would change is the check-out time, as it is 10am. We completely understand this is to allow cleaners to come in, but having the option of a slightly later check-out, at noon at an additional cleaner fee, would be a lovely touch.

Lots of space, beautiful inside everything needed supplied

The lodge was very spacious, like a home from home. Excellent location to visit places like York and Castle Howard. We ate at JJs on site and the food and service were excellent. Enjoyed seeing the ducks and rabbits too.

As the weather was nice, we were disappointed that there were no cushions for the outside seating. We did have a problem with the tv but this was quickly rectified. Despite this, it wouldn't stop us from staying again.

Everything is excellent. Spacious and clean lodge, personal parking, quiet area, perfect location. Very happy I could spend a couple days with my family
