Next door had a hot tub for the same price

Location beautiful.

Electricity gone mid night. Also we buy 10 pound electric card. And we plug card debit clear. Balance 0 again we buy 10 pound also I got 5 pound balance.

Lovely setting beside the lake with good sized veranda & seating. We had a peaceful week as the site was only part occupied. The site is well situated making a lot of places easily accessible by car as many are within 20/30 miles. The double bed was comfortable & had the added bonus of TV in the room.

It would have been nice if the tree/bush in front of the property was cut back a bit to give a better view of the lake & wildlife. The TV in the lounge did not have BBC 1 & 2. The small shower head kept sliding down the pole when in use.

Sofas were uncomfortable

Location was perfect for us. 15-20 mins away from Snowden. The view across the lake and the fact it was easily accessible to go and fish, walk around the lake. reception are very welcoming and you can easily buy fishing ticket as long as you get there before 4.30pm. The restaurant was lovely and food was good - average prices. The cabin was decorated nicely and up to date. We had heavy rain one afternoon/evening so decided to watch some films - was lovely to have so many different dvds to choose from. Balcony was lovely especially when the sun was out. Everything you needed for a break away in North Wales.

It is stated but yes the decking is very slippery when wet, and the paving slabs to the front of the cabin weren’t very stable to walk on - especially after it rained.

Everything, absolutely cracking little lodge, we all loved it, it’s tucked into the corner and only a short walk by either the road or around the lake to the main amenities, there’s nesting swans and ducks with ducklings, my little one was in his element especially with the goose which followed him along the path

Location was amazing we were for a hike to snowdonia stayed for 2 nights the site and cabin was lovely and the poolside bar on site was great we will be staying there again

Be careful not to overload the power if you have the cooker on don't switch the kettle or the shower on some notices would off been a help but owners sorted it out after contacting them but other than that and now we know it will not out us booking the lodge again
