Unfortunately the heaters were totally inadequate and we were very cold the whole stay. The kitchen facilities were very basic. Having a prepaid electric meter is ludicrous. I would much prefer to pay more and have the electricity included. The card run out in the middle of the night as we had to keep the heaters on and consequently woke up freezing.

Location, heating.

Cleanliness. Equipment was basic.

The accommodation and site were fantastic and central to lots of places. We loved the lake and the swans and ducks and the heron. The site was very peaceful and the dog was welcome and it was a lovely site for a walk with her. My grandson loved collecting leaves and feathers and loved the ‘water fall’, we would definitely stay again and recommend to others 😊dvds to watch a nice idea too

The decking was very slippery, maybe some rubber matting or something like they use on wooden walkways to make it less lethal when wet, we walked carefully so it was okay. Our biggest difficulty was no remote control for the tv, only for the dvd player which made things tricky with an impatient 6 year old wanting to watch a dvd or Tv

Property a bit tired, could do with a good clean and maybe some new sofas. Somebody’s jeans in the wardrobe. Also couldn’t find a bbq ? As stated in the description.
