Very old and dirty building, the rooms were in the 4rth floor with no elevator in the night hours. The room had no AC, only fan with much noise during sleep. The bed linen were not clean at all. The bathrooms were shared with various insects inside. No hot water availiable every time. No towels at all.

Great location , which was very suitable for the purpose I was in Mumbai. It did make me reminisce of my early career days when I would stay in places like this, where people were warm and friendly, but you had to have your expectations set :) The counter team was very understanding of my need to change my booking from 5 days to 2 days and took care of doing the right by me, even though Booking.com does not have an option to modify / cancel my booking after completing only part of my stay. It is clearly suitable only for people who can stomach the hostel experience and have no recent experience of a small AirBnB or very upgraded hostel type accomodations

The photos on Booking.com did not match the reality of the place. Even if we were to accept that the place is a slightly more better lodge Accessing the kitchen facilities, though available, is a bit daunting. Had to keep figuring where things are. And during check-in there was no advice or guidance on what all you are allowed to do and use in the kitchen. Bedding: While you can say that the pricing that is being charged is kinda reasonable, it should not be that the bed is not comfortable. Or is that par for the course?

- nice old fashioned interior - there are lockers - nice location, the main train station is nearby - they offer free drinking water

- no AC but there are fans

Excellent location. 5-7 mins from the CST terminal. Walking distance to all the key attractions in Old mumbai. Well maintained place. It is a very old hostel and still retains much of the interior finishing and furnitures. I enjoyed my stay here. For such a central location, the hostel charges are extremely cheap.

The wifi signal is weak and intermittent in the rooms. I had to go to the main lobby to attend important calls which was not conducive.
