Cheerful Hoi An Hostel

The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was tasty, the people were very nice. But the best thing was the owner, who really cared about us, gave us many recommendations and helped us to book activities. She was just a very sweet person and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of us.

Unser Aufenthalt war super toll, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Danke Hien für deine Gastfreundschaft und dein Engagement, für die tolle Streetfood Tour und für die leckere Verpflegung! Wir haben es sehr genossen und können es nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Es hat mir wirklich alles gefallen. Es war sauber, ruhig, Solo travel friendly und vor allem Mama hat den Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. Sie ist die gastfreundlichste Person und ihre Empfehlungen sind wirklich alle gut gewesen. Sie nimmt einen wie das eigene Kind auf und ist immer erreichbar für Fragen und wenn man Probleme hat. Nächstes Mal komme ich auf jeden Fall wieder zu ihr!

Séjour incroyable passé dans cet hostel! Mama est aux petits soins avec vous, elle nous met à l’aise directement comme à la maison! Si vous faites un long séjour n’hésitez pas à vous y arrêter pour recharger vos batteries! Les communs sont eux aussi agréables, et propice au repos! Si vous n’avez pas d’idées de ce que vous allez faire sur place Mama vous aidera. Elle organise également un food tour qui vous permet de goûter à tout un tas de plats! Pour moi c’est un 10/10!

Hien, the host is the sweetest person on Earth. She cares so much and goes above and beyond so you feel comfortable. Since I arrived early morning she took care of me. She gave me the best recommendations, organised food tour during which I discovered things I would never on my own and sent me off with home made bahn mi to make sure I don’t travel hungry. Her place feels like home and people instantly become friends. Thank you Hien!

That I had to leave…

This was probably the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed at in terms of human connection. Although it's called a hostel, it feels much more like a warm, welcoming homestay. The owner is absolutely incredible and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. I met so many amazing people there, the kind of travelers who instantly feel like lifelong friends. If you are going to Hoi An and want to feel like you’re part of a family rather than just a guest, you HAVE to stay here. It was a truly authentic and heartwarming experience.

The only bad thing was having to leave! I wish I could have stayed longer.
