Banana Bunks Kandy

Nice location away from the city - which is very busy. It feels quite peaceful there. Beds were comfy.

The floor to the bathroom was a bit treacherous at night and in the dark. Room didn’t have AC. Also we felt the tuk tuk driver at the hostel was a bit pushy - after a long journey he accosted us and wouldn’t give up!

The deluxe bedrooms were really nice and had comfy beds

The pool was completely unusable and covered in algae, the manager danush was obsessively trying to get us to book excursions or drink wine the second we had arrived. He also charged us double for our TukTuk journeys to the train station. The breakfast was also terrible. It’s pretty far out, honestly I would urge you to stay elsewhere

Location & vibe was totally not what we expected. All very old and not clean

The ambience was so friendly with the nature decorations with flowers, trees in alignment with yoga cottage, swimming pool with a good view of Kandy City. I had a nice run in the early morning & evening with friendly welcome of this neighbourhood. Staff is so helpful & responsive.

Really nice and comfortable beds, clean hostel and set in a lovely location away from the centre of Kandy. Staff were really friendly and helpful!

It was hard to get tuk tuks due to the location so they put the price up higher because it was up a hill.
