We got a room upgrade which was amazing. The room and bathroom were beautiful! Staff and owner and tuctuc service were great. The guys working there were super nice.

The manager took us to commision spots, which in itself is not necessarily bad. But we spent a lot of money at the herbal garden to later find out this place is a scam. You can search for the reviews yourself. The name is new ranweli spice garden. I dont understand why the hotel would do business with a place like this. It left a bitter taste in our mouth since we actually loved to stay at banana bunks. The garden does a product demonstration you never asked for and than they will demand tips. Dont fall for the scam! Even if the hotel says its okay.

I don’t really understand what is so hyped about this hostel. It had a bit of a weird vibe.. the toilet and bathrooms were really dirty and no toilet paper or soap or anything. The beds were fine but not really that comfortable. It would have been fine for an average hostel but not for this expensive hostel. The staff was nice though 🙂
