GreenPoint Drake Bay

Greenpoint is a great place to stay! It has everything you need and the surroundings (nature, birds, frogs, monkeys) are amazing! Juan is a great cook: the breakfast and the meals are excellent! He is also a really good host: he is always there for you, whatever you need. He even makes breakfast when you leave early. Definitely recommend this lovely place!

Superfriendly and caring host! He helped us with booking both a snorkling tour, a visit to the Corcovado National Park and the boat from/to Sierpe. And it turned out he wasn´t just an excellent host, he is also an excellent chef. In the evening he changed to his chef outfit and cooked delicious dinners. Worth every penny! The place is relaxing and in the jungle. It is small scaled and it is easy to be social with other guests. I can warmly recommend it. Just keep in mind that it is some minutes by car from the central Drake Bay and beaches. This suited us perfect, since we wanted to live more in the jungle during these days. You get enough of sun, sand and salt during your daily activities anyway. A really nice place!

Accommodation in the middle of the jungle with animals all around - the hosts are really nice and the food is amazing!

In a lush tropical garden with hummingbirds, parrots and butterflies flying around. Juan Carlos is a great cook, we had every evening delicious dinner with starter and once even with dessert for a very reasonable price. He helped us with our program in Drake bay too. Many thanks 🙏

Located on the edge of the jungle. Observation deck excellent for watching birds. A troupe of capuchin monkeys visited us on the deck after breakfast to partake their meal of bananas. Juan Carlos was very helpful arranging transport. The evening meal was delicious, Juan Carlos is a great cook.

Location is over a mile from town center. If you have no vehicle, it is too far to walk, so a taxi is needed.

It was great, located in the middle of the jungle and monkeys would come and visit whilst we were eating breakfast! Juan really cares about providing a good experience, he booked all the tours for us and was very responsive from the moment we booked on WhatsApp, usually taking minutes to respond every time. Juan and his wife also cook a 2 course dinner for $14 which is excellent, he used to be a chef so it is restaurant standard and brilliant that breakfast is also included in the price of the room.

It was a little far from the town but you get a proper jungle experience and shuttles are included when you book tours. Also when others have booked a tour you can hop in their taxi for free. Taxi is $10 for the town otherwise and think we only paid for about 3 Taxies during our 4 night stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at our bungalow. It felt like we have been in paradise - surrounded by hummingbirds, parrots and monkeys. It was an incredible experience. Carlos made breakfast which was absolutely tasty. In addition you can book dinner, which was also amazing (2 courses for 14$)! Carlos was really helpful. Also with booking a trip to the Corcovado Nationalpark. He found the best tour guide ever for us!

Fabulous dinner available for $14. Great jungle setting 3km outside of Drake Bay. Monkeys and birds around that come to visit. 100% worth the stay
