This accommodation had character, was comfortable and centrally located.

I can't think of anything that wasn't satisfactory.

The room was really cosy, had a cute view of the garden, was super clean and great value given it was a private space. If you enjoy slightly higgedly piggedldy welsh barns than this is perfect. I couldn't have been happier with my stay.

Good location - only 5mins walk into Machynleth. If you purely want a place to sleep and nothing more, it'll do.

Stange setup, we just walked in, took the room we guessed was ours, slept there then left in the morning. Never saw anyone that worked there. A garage was mentioned for bike storage, but again, we just guessed and used one of the garages outside. Still no idea if it was the right one. Beds were passable - not the worst, but not the best.

Humid and cold, mold stains, not very good for people with breathing issues

Very quirky but has what you need. The bed in the double room was very comfortable.

The steps up to it were a bit difficult for the older generation.

Excellent stay at Toad Hall, what an interesting and quirky place. It has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped and the shower is excellent. You can come and go as you wish and everything is to hand. Comfortable, easy to find. Right next to the train station, and a short walk from the river and the old bridge where I had a dip. Loved the wallpaper! Would stay there again.

The steps up to the entrance are high!
