Hostal La Isla

Its a very nice hostel, we had a very pretty room with stunnings views. Also, the owner is very nice and polite. The breakfast was so good and the woman who makes it is super nice too. The ubicación is also great!

Some of the temporary staff is kind of incompetent and don't know what they're doing. But I guess they all only work there for a few weeks/months. Might be due to the fact that half of the people there are smoking marihuana all day, which you can smell in some parts of the common areas (but that's just a guess). If you don't have problems with that and a lot of patience, it's a great place to stay.

Loved everything. The team is so amazing and the atmosphere at the hostel is so welcoming and it feels like a home. The free yoga and breakfast were great perks and I was really sad to leave.

Nice hostal with cool chill and very social vibes , plenty of space to chill , the location and the staff are great!

I really liked the vibe of the hostel. It's very relaxed and you can easily enjoy time by yourself or also join the community. It's easy to get to know people and everyone is super helpful and caring. The owner is genuinely interested in the guests. It's very artsy and comfy, I would definitely come back.

The Owner and the voluntarios are so Kind and Great. The hostel itself creates a family vibe. I was extended my stay several times. (:

Friendly staff and breakfast

The atmosphere in hostel was pretty good. People were friendly. Most of the staff is volunteering so one would find different staff every other day. There are sometimes people coming to sell stuff like vegan chocolate etc. Warm water for shower is availaible.

*Parasites problem in san cristobal in general *Beds was quite uncomfortable because the top bed was quite shaky
