Amazing hotel complex right at the foot of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park featuring a spectacular pool with full-scale views of the nearby mountains. Cosy rooms, each one featuring a unique design. Private bathroom on the terrace featuring a great view from the bath tub, modern showers and a traditional private wood-fired oven. High quality mattress, all ammenities in the bathroom. But what REALLY made this stay unique is the care and attention provided by the staff, especially Linda from the reception. She's not only there to arrange pickup and airport transfer at a reasonable price, she plans each and every day of your stay individually based on your personal preferences to make the very best out of your time in this lovely place. A custom itiniery for each day, pre-booking of all necessary tickets, arrangement of transfers of private cars for longer trips, optimized solutions for luggage logistics to save time, even pre-written notes in Chinese to show to park employees to ensure smooth admission - everything is taken care of in a most experienced, professional, yet warm-hearted way. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Pandora Vista Retreat was truly a highlight of our trip. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and feels like a hidden gem in the heart of Zhangjiajie. The hospitality was exceptional — Linda, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. She greeted us with genuine warmth, helped us plan our itinerary with a hand-drawn map, and even organised pick-up and drop-off services to fit our short schedule. When it started raining, staff immediately brought us umbrellas. It genuinely felt like staying with family — so welcoming, kind, and attentive to every detail.

Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

Location is stunning and makes for peaceful stay. Staff are friendly and attentive. Good size pool. Room was nice and bed was large and comfy. Good selection of dinner options
