Best property in jaco imo. Can’t beat the resort vibe and the pool is the star.

It’s all the way at the end of jaco like the last hotel so that’s the only negative. But all the tours pick you up from here.

"Beautiful resort, but no beach chairs and umbrellas near water."

Beautiful resort. Nice clean rooms, comfortable beds, beautiful grounds. The only thing we didn’t like is no chairs at the beach. If you go be ready to stay near the pool all day. Other hotels provided chairs and umbrellas for their customers. Crocs didn’t. Also breakfast is the same every day.

We stayed here as a family for a few nights on a trip to Costa Rica. In the UK there is a term called chav that describes a certain subculture or type of people. That’s kind of what this hotel draws. It is a bit odd that it is also a casino so you have a casino going community paired w families. Odd mix. Lots of retirees. That said it was a nice, affordable hotel. It wasn’t 5 star but they do their best. Service is slow. Be prepared for that. Everything takes forever. The hotel also cares about money. To get towels for the pool, you need to use towel cards. To get food you have to make sure youve deposited funds at the front desk (to be able to bill to your room). Apparently this is owned by some Americans and that’s now where the penny pinching comes from. But all in all its good value. Not quite my type of hotel but the staff work so hard. You see them in all kinds of different roles working 12-18 hour days. Nice pool. Juices are very good (prob the best we had in Costa Rica at a hotel). Not much of a beach or much around but easy to walk/drive into town. Our little one loved it.
