Sylvia Beach Villa

Best beach front hotel. Newer beach villas are suitable. And good value. Good restaurant. Nice pools. 15min taxi to Bajo is practical for dinner / shopping.

The older beach villas are wooden and have cracks in walls letting in mosquitoes. To avoid, especially with outdoor toilets/shower.

The location is fabulous. The villas are right on the beach, bed is confy. Can rent kayak and snorkel mask.

Great view of the sunset, and a nice beach. Nice snorkling spot just off the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Sometime language was an obstacle, but in the end it always worked out.

Beach was unfortunately littered with garbage and plastic. Same goes for parts of the the resort. Location is a bit remote.

This property has huge potential especially if you stay in the villas. However, maintenance needs to be upgraded, meals were adequate but could have been better. They need a book /list in each room explaining what to do within the hotel and tours available outside the hotel.

Nice views of the beach in a semi private location. The restaurant was also very good and the staff were very friendly.

The beach was covered in trash, the bathroom had almost no hot water and was not clean. The bug net was falling from the roof.
