we spent 5 wonderful nights here! the beach is really beautiful, there are 2 swimming pools, a good restaurant and the villas are very nice.

the bathroom was sometimes smelly, and the beach is not so clean (plastics and many cigarettes on the sand)

A really nice cabin in the sea shore. The beach was really quiet and peaceful, perfect for a couple of days of relax.

The personnel is really nice but totally slow and disorganised. Also, they forgot to pick us up from town at a difficult time to catch a taxi. The cabins are nice but without maintenance. Our cabin was full of mosquito and the cabin had holes all over the place without mosquito nets. Also, the restaurant as fewer awful choices and they are out of many of them so you will have to go to town for a proper meal.

the room was outdated. the toilet is outside and there where mice droppings in our sink. it rained while we were there and it was inconvenient to have to go pee outside - not to mention I got mosquito bites bathing outside. our fridge didn’t work and the ac took over an hour to cool the room

There are two sections of the hotel: one a typical hotel and the other beach villas. We stayed in a lovely beach villa. The location is superb. The sea is very clean for a hotel so close to a major city. Don't expect much snorkelling but swimming in clear water is good. The restaurant is virtually on the beach together with a pool. Breakfasts next to the beach were a pleasure every morning.

The hotel and villas are of high quality but on the older side. They are refurbishing, and covid likely had its impact as well. The stray cats in the restaurant beach area are a bit of an irritation. Most people will feed them, and I understand why. I would prefer not to have sickly-looking stray kitties snarling hungrily at each other for a bit of food tossed at them. This does not seem a problem to the locals. So kinda look the other way if it does not sit well. :-)

Breakfast was good for local Indonesian standard.

Room is full of mosquitoes. Hot water is not enough for 2 people to shower. Hotel is a bit run down but it is right on the beach which is fantastic.
