Awesome experience, with inhouse nature walks and plenty of opportunities to explore outside. Great place in the middle of the nature!

A wonderful location and a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We spent two nights here, and as nature lovers we never felt any need to step outside of the grounds - there is so much to see! Gautham and Jitish were amazing guides for the various walks around the property and the neighbouring land, very enthusiastic and knowledgeable on all aspects of wildlife. The restaurant was excellent, with a wide choice of good quality dishes. The room was large, comfortable and very clean. The staff were also incredibly helpful with planning our onward journey.

The Internet connection was a little slow - fine for emails or WhatsApp messages though - best to switch off your screen and enjoy the beautiful surroundings!

Jidesh en Peter waren fantastisch tijdens de natuurwandelingen. Beide doen een nieuwe wereld opengaan qua ervaring.. een kleinschalig safari als het ware. De accomodatie voldoet aan alle verwachtingen. De Safari is niet ver en transport er naartoe wordt geregeld zodat de buitenlander zich geen zorgen hoeft te maken betreft bereikbaarheid of op tijd zijn om er te geraken.ook zeeeer mooie omgeving

Thank you for a fantastic stay at Machaan Wilderness Lodge. It exceeded all our expectations. We stayed in a Luxury "yurt", which was spacious and had everything we needed, with a fantastic shower and big bathroom, plus a brilliant deck looking out over the grassland and forest. Perfect for watching the birds and hearing the sounds of the forest. You feel very much part of nature here, with an in-house naturalist (Peter - who was great) taking us on an early morning bird-spotting walk, and a tour to Iruppu Falls, pointing out local birds and butterflies and giving us loads of fascinating background. They also helped us organise a couple of safaris, including taking us and picking us up. The safaris were great, with lots wildlife and bird sightings - an excellent spotter/driver who was extremely knowledgeable. No big cats for us, but lots of other people saw them, so we were just a bit unlucky. All the staff were friendly, attentive and made our stay brilliant. No-one was without a smile for us. The food was excellent- including lots of regional specialities, and exceptionally generous Indian breakfasts. We will miss it very much!

Beautiful location surrounded by nature. Clean and spacious yurts. Wonderful nature walks and passionate employees.

Only one possibility for lunch and dinner, expensive for mediocre quality food.

The location is amazing! Just at the edge of the forest, the only sounds you hear are birds. Simply gorgeous! The wilderness staff member was super informative and helpful. He gave us details on some super nice bike rides and even sent us a google maps itinerary for it!

After travelling around other regions of India for a few weeks, Machaan felt like a quiet, serene, paradise island! The perfect place to relax and unwind. The wildlife you can see by just staying in the property is immense and with the Naturalist’s walks and guides, you learn so much during your stay. The restaurant staff and food were also incredible. We also did the waterfall, tea plantation and wild swimming with picnic excursion which we both really enjoyed - it was a private excursion and we were treated like VIPs the whole time. We loved every second of our stay.
