Summit Oakden Resort & Spa Mall Road

The location (ease of access and mountain view from room). The genuine behaviour of staff and excellent service. Food availability and quality are really great. It made for a great 2 day relaxation in winter. I could not try out the spa services but I am sure those are amazing as well!

Nothing really.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They ensured that all the guests were looked after. I also loved the live singing as the singer was exceptional with beautiful voice. It made me go to their restaurant for every dinner. Overall the staff and the location made it a very pleasant experience.

The rooms need upgrading. They need to have centralised heating as it was difficult to control the temperature of the room

The location of the property was good and convenient.

I think the hotel is either understaffed or not hardworking. Housekeeping needs to be improved. The bell boy was grumbling with the reception as he was hard pressed. He was missing when my taxi came.

Location is superb. Good views from upper room and terrace. I had partial view room and enjoyed the terrace with nice view having tea and snacks on terrace. Rooms are well maintained and most important no damp smell, which usually present in premium hotels too in Darjeeling weather.

Support staff was helpful but reception was not very welcoming at time of arrival.

The property was not well maintained, the bathroom door knobs were coming off, the beds were not comfortable at all, The towels didn’t look or feel clean. You had the same breakfast menu for the four days that we stayed. There should be hot water facility for the faucet in the toilet, the bathroom ceiling was very low The Wi-Fi signal was weak
