Asokam Beach Resort

Was quite a distance out of kannur centre so good that it was quiet but if u don't have transport its not easy as auto rickshaw hard to find. Beautiful beach but no sun shades or trees so not easy if u fair skinned like me. Lovely pool at hotel which we had sole use of most of time. Breakfasts very good too. Dhanesh was very helpful and the main person working doing everything. Reception man a bit hit n miss and didn't understand English very well or misunderstood our requests. However, this is India n we on the whole love everything.

The location is good with an excellent beach right across the road. Danesh does as well as he can - but he is only one man, trying to do everything. The room is very spacious, and the bed excellent.

Find other food options. When breakfast is stated served from 8.00 (online) and 8.15 (on the sign in the hotel), you actually expect the restaurant to be open before 8.30. I had one dinner here, and would not recommend it. My check was not correct, they attempted to double charge me for the food, and the room/tax was also a little bit off.

Need a buffet lunch.

Right on a fantastic beach, in a serene, beautiful little compound…relaxing and rejuvenating! And the food! Fresh and delicious. The staff went out of their way to help with whatever I wanted to do…booking a train, arranging a rickshaw, even dropping me off at a great restaurant for dinner on the way home (Rada Krishna, the manager, who really makes you feel like a King!) Dhanesh always was there to give water, helping with any issue, and provided 5 star service with a smile! The wonderful cook also helped arrange my laundry, which I desperately needed. I even met the very nice owner, who saved me by booking my train, and her gracious mother. And lastly, sunset over the Arabian Sea from my balcony…stunning!

I wished to stay longer, but they were booked.

Amazing resort with all good facilities which has stunning view. The staffs here were really good. The breakfast served was really good.
