The rooms were in bad shape and the price quoted online is double what they offering in the spot

The property is perched at a beautiful location. It is calm and peaceful.

The property is very poorly maintained. While there are caretakers, we found only one caretaker was active and helped. The rest are just sitting there with no involvement. The property is in a bad condition with very little cleanliness. The fence is broken and things are lying around in the lawn with no one cleaning. No one comes to clean the room unless asked and they don't have the proper tools to clean as well. There needs to be a manager brought in. The price of the room per night does not justify the quality of the stay. The owner must step in and take ownership of his/her property instead of leaving it on young untrained boys from the village nearby.

Here's a detailed review after staying 2 nights. 1. Location is very inconvenient...very far away from all places of interest. 57km from Mussoorie and 7km from Kanatal. In the middle of nowhere. 2. Access is difficult... there's a dangerously steep and rough 200m uphill path from the main road. 3. Rooms are small and have zero privacy...the walls are so thin that even normal talk from the neighbouring rooms can be easily heard. The front wall of the room is glass...but guests and staff are constantly walking by, so the curtains have to be kept closed 24x7 4. No view at all... why travel so far ... to stay completely enclosed in a room with no windows, and a front glass wall that has to be kept curtained 24x7? Doesn't make sense. 5. Overall disappointing: After travelling so far and paying a relatively high price, we were expecting something really good...but the property is quite tiny and ORDINARY. Overpriced... won't recommend.
