Dinuda Lagoon Hotel

The food was excellent. we had traditional Sri Lankan breakfast the was perfect, cooked traditionally by a very traditional lady. The Manager was a very friendly young man who was efficient and knew a lot about the marine life in the are having just graduated with a degree in Marine Biology. His interests in corals and restoration of mangrove arreas was impressive.

Both the hotel and the kitesurf places are amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful and the hotel grounds, common areas, facilities and rooms are all well maintained and very clean. had an absolutely wonderful experience

It’s peaceful and has lots of interesting things to see around it. very aesthetically managed rooms had thier spacl srilankan rice & curry which was superb. Pool is very nice to Hang around,

Location was ok, it was in front of the Ocean. But my room was located in the middle. So I couldn't see the beach. Even the rooms weren't comfortable enough. The water pressure is too slow.

We ordered dinner from the hotel. And it wasn't very good. All of them were cooked with ketchup, and it was hard to eat. None of my family members liked it. And the owner's attitude was also too rude when I complained about the dinner. He also tried to sell boat rides to us, which were too expensive.

The accommodations at Dinuda Resort were nothing short of fantastic. The rooms were tastefully decorated, creating a warm and inviting ambience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of kite surfing. Additionally, the dining options at Dinuda Resort were outstanding. The on-site restaurant served a delectable array of dishes, blending local flavours with international cuisine. Each meal was a culinary delight, and the attentive waitstaff added to the overall dining experience.

The hotel is very nice, clean and calm. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is good. Totally the service is very good. We can highly recommend this Resort. And I must say the pool was amazing with the lagoon view.

Nothing to Say.......

It’s a very nice place, right on the lagoon. Just a short walk to the Indian Ocean with endless beaches. The garden is beautiful. Great Chef, the seafood is very good. The staff is super friendly and very helpful with everything, they can arrange kite surfing, and also boat trips to the Wilpattu National Park where they go up the river. On site they have kayaks for rent for paddling on the lagoon. I can recommend this place
