Sarang is not just a bartender – he is the heart and soul of this place. He is incredibly professional, dedicated to his work with his whole heart, and truly loves people. You can feel his kindness and genuine care from the very first moment. He doesn’t just serve drinks – he creates an atmosphere, remembers details, and makes every guest feel special. This was our 7th time here, and Sarang has always taken care of us like family. His warmth, positive energy, and beautiful heart make every visit unforgettable. He is highly respected and loved by everyone – guests and staff alike – and it’s easy to understand why. Sarang P, we love you! Thank you for always taking such wonderful care of us. We recommend him to everyone with all our hearts. If you visit Rotana, make sure to meet him – you will understand immediately why he is so special.

Most important to mention ist the staff. The people surrounding you for 10 days are extremely important. Everyone was friendly, helpful and always had a smile. It started with Monther at the front desk, such a warm welcome to a new country I highly appreciated that. Followed by the perfectly chatty guys from the spa, always having a joke and being nice. And last and 100% not least Nikil from the beach bar. Despite having tons of things to do always friendly and helpful. And if remembering names would be easier for me I could mention so many more. We booked a 10 day all inclusive holiday as a family at the resort. So at every day of the hour there was food and drinks available. None of us had any wishes left. The pool was great and even long enough to take laps. A bit sad was that I had to ask for a daily itinerary with sports, kids entertainment etc. Not everyone knows something like this exists. IMPORTANT to mention is also that despite having booked all inclusive there was again the concept of you cannot go here or eat there. Something that I do not like if I book all inclusive everything should be included or at least mentioned there is a category higher. And I am not talking about expensive things, but just a part of the same restaurant or a stretch at the beach. At one bar we even did not get a drink since it was reserved for the Italiens (Bravo). You as management should inform guests about it, because it really dims the experience. And from a guest point of view I also do not see the point.

A nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. It's very spacious, yet offers transportation between the room, pool, bar, reception, and beach. The food is good and the selection is excellent. Fruit is a bit limited, but you can find something in that category. The staff brings drinks, even the complimentary ones. There are waiters on roller skates who take orders by the pool. The rooms are cleaned daily. We booked a studio and received a villa, with a refrigerator, microwave, oven, and even a washing machine and dishwasher. The bathroom is fully equipped, even with toiletries, replenished as needed. The room has minimal imperfections due to normal use, but this doesn't affect the comfort of the stay. The air conditioning works very well. The only thing that stands out is the poor extra bed for a third person – a fold-out bed. It's a bit comfortable, but you can easily move onto the sofa. The internet in the room works very well. The hotel is really nice and I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay, we were mostly happy about everything. only thing we consider as negative are plastic glasses even in restaurants and also the menu of drinks should be more wider even for guests who are not premium. We also were really happy about the worker in caban on the beach named Madul, always smiling and being very kind to us.

We stayed at Rotana in Salalah for one week, and it was a genuinely relaxing, enjoyable experience — mainly because of the people. The staff are consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and you really feel looked after from the moment you arrive. A real highlight for us was Olive Restaurant. The food was excellent throughout the week, with great variety and quality, and the team created such a warm atmosphere every day. I especially want to mention Mr. Arif. He is the definition of great hospitality: incredibly polite, thoughtful, and always one step ahead — whether it was remembering preferences, making sure everything was perfect, or simply greeting us with a sincere smile. His service was outstanding and made every meal feel easy and special. Thank you, Arif — you truly made a difference. We also appreciated how clean and well maintained everything was. Housekeeping did a fantastic job, and the hotel felt fresh and comfortable throughout our stay. A big thank you to the entire team for such a welcoming week in Salalah. We would happily return and absolutely recommend this hotel — especially for the service.

Beautiful hotel, comfortable, well-kept, beautiful views, room cleaned daily, water on an ongoing basis. The people who work there are wonderful, helpful, always smiling. Restaurant "club rotana" fantastic, friendly service, delicious food. Even for children (non-eaters) there will be something (nuggets, pasta without sauce, mini burgers everything). Service in the restaurant first class, especially Snow and Sarang P always ready to help, nice, smiling. We love to go to the rotana.
