Kasuari Valley Beach Resort

Отличное место. Нет выхода к морю, высокий берег. Отличная кухня, чистый бассейн, дружелюбный персонал. Нам все понравилось!

Wir haben eine Nacht hier nach unserer Tauchreise verbracht. Die Mitarbeiter*innen waren sehr bemüht, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ja das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist dennoch super schön und liebevoll. Man fühlt sich wie in einem kleinen Jungle. Wenn man aufpasst wo man hintritt sind auch die morschen Holzwege kein Problem. Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und man konnte nachts die vielen Tiere um einen herum hören. Wir waren zuerst abgeschreckt von den Bewertungen, aber sind froh, dass wir uns ein eigenes Bild gemacht haben. Ich würde hier immer wieder einkehren, anstatt in eines der großen Kongresshotels.

Man merkt, dass das Hotel älter ist, aber wenn man es weiß, ist es total ok. Sauber sind die Zimmer und der Service klasse. Einige Dinge auf dem Menü wie Eis oder frische Früchte waren nicht verfügbar, aber wir haben bei der großen Auswahl eine Alternative gefunden.

The property is nice, and the rooms are decent. The view from the restaurant is lovely and it is nice to hang out there and enjoy a coffee, juice and some food. There is a lot of variety on the menu. The coffee is delicious and so were all of the juices we tried. The food was also very good. And several of the staff members were lovely- especially the concierge and the main waitress who worked in the mornings.

Overall, although everything looks nice, the resort is a little run down and actually kind of hazardous, especially the boardwalk that runs all through the property. I saw three people break boards just in my two days there! They really need to redo the entire boardwalk before someone gets hurt. The restaurant prices are very high. For example, like 45,000 for juice and coffee (if I remember correctly) and 80,000 for simple vegetable dishes. I should have taken photos of the menu but I did not so I can’t remember exact prices but they were 2-3 times what I had been paying in Sulawesi and what I saw in local warungs… and since you are physically isolated there are not really any other options. In the early morning (like before 7:30/8 am) there are no staff members around, so if you want a coffee or early breakfast, good luck! Also, there is no hot water in the shower. I expect that from a homestay but not from a “resort”.

garden, room, staff, good restaurant, nice pool, nice views on sea - almost everything

well resort is fading, some years ago it was great place but something happen (one of issue can be that it isn't beach resort anymore). But so far so good - still worth to stay here if You are in Sorong.

Het uitzich en de locatie is geweldig.

Er moet wel iets aan onderhoud worden gedaan.
