The Royal at Atlantis

We had a great 5-day vacation at the Royal Tower in Atlantis. Everything isn't perfect, but it is a great place. A few slides were closed daily, and food is a little overpriced. I don't like the 15% gratuity added to grab and go food, but we knew that going in. Most of the staff is very friendly. The casino is very lively in the evenings. The pools, waterpark, and beaches give you endless choices during the day at any age. Be prepared to get your steps.

The Atlantis was very cool. The ocean is awesome. It's well staffed. However, the restaurants are overpriced for the food portions. DO NOT rent the jet skis right on the beach on the other side of the bridge, those guys are crooks and con artists and the jet skis are dangerous to ride and they act as thugs. I am surprised they are not banned or outlawed. The casino is always packed and out of six (6) people not one of us won in 4 nights and every other casino we have been to in our life at least one plus person won, lol. We probably lost $5K total as a group and I am telling you there's rumors "it's rigged." The staff is nice. At times the water slides didn't have enough staff so they closed down certain slides. The resort is awesome and insane how large it is and all the wildlife and it's clean and safe. One thing I don't like the smoking area u have to walk through to get to your room or tower. There should be a separate smoking area away from kids and people walking through to get to pool or rooms. Overall I would go again but I wouldn't gamble or jet ski and I would want to see far apart from general public smoking area as second hand smoke is dangerous and gross especially around small kids and babies.

My wife and I had a great time at the Royal Atlantis! From the time we checked in with Chelsea at the front desk, everything was perfect!!! We were celebrating my wife Nicole's birthday and when I mentioned it to Chelsea she made sure our stay was a memorable one. The room was great!! I cannot say this enough, "Thank you Chelsea!!!" We are just leaving The Royal at Atlantis today after a 5 day vacation! We loved every minute of it! We upgraded to the new Imperial Club. The rooms were all newly renovated and modern with the best view over the entire grounds and ocean. The Imperial Group lounge was a great place for continental breakfasts, happy hour cocktails and snacks. The team and staff were all amazing, we highly recommend upgrading to the Imperial Lounge, it is well worth the upgrade plus some!

I had such a wonderful stay at Atlantis during an April–May wedding celebration I attended. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and there were so many serene moments enjoying the balcony views of wildlife, the beach, and the ocean. This trip truly made Atlantis a future vacation destination for me. I also loved the time of year we visited, as the weather was perfect and made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

The hotel was huge, spacious and clean, generally great experience. The staff was helpful and friendly.

We were very disappointed with the tipping situation at the bar. Several times we noticed that the staff added tips to the cocktail bills themselves — sometimes as much as $15 — without clearly informing us or asking for consent.

Spetacular Hotel!! Incredible beachs!! Very very beautiful! Great Waterpark! Nice restaurants. Nice and big room!! Great Gym!! We loved the place!! Claudios restaurant and Carminnes where our best choices. But: shower of the bathroom was poor, with just a few water. The Acquaventure park is great but many many times the tubes stay closed!! I have a 6 year old child and the tubes he loved where constantly closed. He was upsat by that. The waitress from Claudios restaurant where extremely rude! Unpolite, didnt want to work. Didnt gave any smile, whe never had around the world this kind of reception on a restaurant. Very bad waitress. If you are prepared to this things above you can have some great days and time in the Atlantis, because all the complex is beautiful, the beachs are incredible!! The food is delicius!! Just prepare yourself to a poor shower and some sad and angry waitress in Claudios. By the way the FlatBread on Clauidos is very very good!!
