It is by far one of the most beautiful places to stay. Great for a quiet holiday, don’t miss the walk down to the river and take books to read.

Nothing at all. But be prepared for set meals and home like service. This is not the kind of hotel where you order stuff and make noise - so be mindful of the energy of the space

The huts are comfortable and beautifully constructed, and nice outdoor bathroom. The staff were so friendly, kind and attentive. The food was excellent for breakfast, lunch & dinner. We went on some lovely walks nearby, especially to the river.

Only small criticism is we would have liked dinner to be served a little earlier at 7/7.30pm. If the property had a pool then it would be perfect as it’s such a lovely setting to relax in.

The warm water was not always working, and the “double room with balcony” did not have a window, making it cold at night with wind coming in.

Endroit très romantique et de grand charme utilisant des matériaux naturels en totale harmonie avec la nature. Douce intimité à l’intérieur des bungalows éclairés avec des lumières recréant les lueurs de bougies ce qui est très rare en Inde ou l’on utilise toujours du néon avec une lumière crue. Douche en plein air ouverte sur le ciel très originale. Un personnel très attentionné, souriant devançant nos attentes. Ont apporté des boissons chaudes à notre arrivée au gingembre frais et citron vert : un délice. Massage complet inoubliable. Marche au dessus du domaine jusqu’au sommet de la colline permettant de savourer le coucher de soleil sur les montagnes avoisinantes. Et rencontre de bisons sauvages dans les herbes hautes. Un endroit hors norme pour ceux qui cherchent l’authenticité et l’esprit artistique.

This place is heaven if you are a bird watcher. We spotted so many rare birds and it was the best day for my wife and I. We spent all day looking for birds and we spotted so many plum-headed parakeets, shrikes, fly catchers, spotted doves, orioles, owls, vernal hanging parrots and many more. The service was too welcoming and I wish I could spend more days there. I highly recommend this place if you want to simply relax and enjoy some nice food. My only feedback would be to be clear on the description on night Safari, that was the only disappointing experience. We assumed they would take us in the forest patch or at least some isolated place but never knew we would be stuck in traffic. We were literally on the road to tamilnadu,which I myself would taken my car and the cost for this is 4000 for 2 people.apart from this everything else was perfect

Everything about Mudhouse is perfection. A magical place focused on sustainability. All detail is thought through with care and love. The staff are magnificent - warm, open and kind. The food is delicious. The spa treatments are heaven. the environment feels nurturing and generous. The owner Deepak and his family have created a paradise in a beautiful landscape. Too many adjectives I know but it’s true. Thank you Ambily and your great team for taking such good care of us. We loved it and appreciate what a special place it is.
