Zen Boutique Retreat & Resort

The accommodation was gorgeous. Filled with exotic plants and flowers. The rooms have a stunning outside bathroom. The poolside area has a variety of sun loungers and also pool beds to lay on.

Read this if you want an incredible journey... My partner Hanna and I were at Zen from 06.01 to 28.01 and had a fantastic experience. Being here for 22 nights allowed us to get to know the amazing staff and the wonderful owners very well. We felt at home and enjoyed every evening. Natacha, one of the owners, organized fantastic yoga sessions and made sure we had an amazing stay. Zen is located in a beautiful spot with great nature around and only 10 minutes to the beach. The evenings are quiet and peaceful, and you feel very safe there. We don’t regret a single second of staying for 3 weeks, and we will definitely come back! Highly recommended!

The design and build of the resort is recent and in very good taste. Staff were great and manager Natasha went the extra mile. The restaurant and rooftop lounge were really nice.

There is a very long and bumpy road to get to the place so walking anywhere from the resort was not really feasible. Own transport or Tuctuc/ taxi required. Our other problem,albeit subjective was the hard bed. Again subjective and admittedly opinionated they should remove the hip-hop tracks from the breakfast playlist!

The hotel is incredibly "Zen" as the name indicates, the pool is relaxing, the hotel is full of greenery and the vibe is perfect to relax, outside of the crowds on the island. The staff is friendly (specifically Chris the manager). Fantastic outdoor shower in our room (shower under the stars, literally, and high quality soap) The lunch and dinner menu at their restaurant "burnt orange" is very nice and it was pleasant to grab a bite there. We had a good time!

While the hotel is really pretty, some design choices are a little questionable (coloured lights on the paths, the breakfast menu and quality of the items, the elements around the pool and paint colours chosen). It feels like this hotel could be 11/10 with a few elements changed with western clients in mind and I wish to see it thrive in the future. Some thing seem a bit run down though they are not very old.

I loved the staff and the setting and ambiance of the resort. Beautifully decorated!! The food was good and the staff was truly standout!!

The power kept on fluctuating so the room was really hot because the AC wouldn’t stay on! Otherwise it was great!!

We really liked our stay here! Nice staff, good food, room with AC and the vibe was fantastic!

Beautiful calm boutique hotel set in tropical gardens, each room is an individual hut with a beautiful outdoor bathroom. The rooms surrounded a lovely pool, with plenty of space for relaxing. There was an outdoor gym, a small restaurant and a lovely tree house bar with great views. The owners and staff all went out of their way to make us feel at home. Thank you Sarah and Ty for a wonderful stay.

Slightly off the beaten track (10-15mins walk from the beach) but a small price to pay for tranquility. Minor issues with electricity which meant AC wasn't always working efficiently, but this is common on the island. Staff were very happy to provide extra fans to combat this.

Beautiful Resort!! Short of nothing. The owner is very welcoming, always willing to help. The resort is very clean and well kept. Staff is professional and very friendly.
