Poor customer service at check in. Everything else was top notch, but that definitely will make us reconsider next time.

Overall a great experience at the resort. Loved Blaze restaurant. The ocean front location, food, ambiance & most of all the delightful, friendly & helpful staff including Alondra, Hector, Angel, Christian, Delilah & Ary. Luis at the Casa Grande restaurant was wonderful! Our favourite bar tender was Ivan. Kevin with the kayaks was a hero rescuing our daughter’s prosthetic leg from the ocean. Leo with the pool activities was great! Everyone was friendly & helpful & inclusive of our young grandchild. I would skip the Italian restaurant. Food was just ok & staff were aloof. Our only negative staff interaction was with Oscar G who was rude, manipulative & will do anything including lying to try to sell you a “timeshare”.

The hotel was nice except for one incident. We had a wedding contracted book of rooms. Some guests stayed offsite. Several bought a night or day pass to come and hangout and celebrate with everyone. One of our guests came to the lobby right before his night pass expired. Guest services came up to him and confirmed his name. They then told him he had to leave. He explained to them he was just finishing his drink and then would get a uber homes they told him no and forced him to leave the property in the middle of the night down a poorly lit road. There were witnesses. He was calm and polite all the way through. They refused him to get a uber home. This was pretty messed up and when I found out about this and asked told the front desk, they didn’t act very surprised by this and just said “ok”

Everything was so good! The people. The food. The views. The bars. Highly recommend getting out and seeing the town as well. Did I mention the food??? Truly fancy. Not typical all inclusive resort cafeteria dining. Also no nickel and diming. Room fridge is free and restocked. Room service is free anytime. We took full advantage of the resort (minus the lobster tomahawk and spa options) and had zero additional room charges. And there is so much attention to detail! I had an unexpected bottle of wine placed on my table during cleaning with a warm welcoming note. My neighbor's door got decorated with "happy anniversary". Excursions offered are not affiliated with the hotel but we were very satisfied with what we did - well worth the cost as well. Will definitely stay here again!

We stayed at this resort last week and our group of 15 had an amazing time! Some things that really stuck out as being top notch were number one the food! Probably the best I have had at an all inclusive resort. The second was the kids club! We had three young kids with us and they could not get enough of the kids club. The third was the beach its beautiful and the fact that its completely secluded makes for a more private experience. The overall property was slightly dated but well taken care of and clean! The last and probably most important thing I want to say is how amazing the service was! it was wonderful from start to finish but the service at the pool! Go and find Israel and Joel by the pool! They were amazing! They were so friendly and funny and even remembered what our drink order was day to day! All in all an amazing week I would 100% return!

Just got back from our stay at Hyatt Ziva and honestly still thinking about it. The resort itself is gorgeous but what really got us was the people working there, we felt like actual guests not just room numbers. Im going to try to remember everyone because they deserve the recognition. I know im probably forgetting a few and I feel bad about that but here goes: Alejandro at the bell desk was the first face we saw and he immediately set the tone, gave us a full rundown of the resort and made us feel so welcome. Margarita on the management side was quietly making sure everything ran perfectly the whole time, you could just tell. Our room was always spotless thanks to Angelico who was super attentive and never missed a thing. Oscar, Mario, Alondra, Jenifer, Eddie, Naomi and Carlos, these servers were running around with full sections and still found time to smile and check in on us and make sure our dietary preferences were always taken care off. Never once felt like a bother. Alex at the bar was super friendly and genuinely fun to talk to. He would suggest drinks based on what we liked and never steered us wrong. Joshua was great too. The spa was a whole experience. Maria, Gloria, Diego, Rosa and Heidi were all so welcoming and walked us through everything before we started. Me and my wife did a couples massage and it was incredibly relaxing. You could tell everyone was actually trained and professional not just going through the motions. Caesar at the buffet honestly might be my MVP of the trip. My wife is vegetarian and he put together a full custom vegetarian lunch for her that wasnt even on the menu. Just did it no fuss. That kind of thing you dont forget. And Kevin on the kayak tour, calm, attentive, made us feel totally safe the whole time. Really enjoyed it. If your on the fence about this resort just go. We will definetly be back.

First but definitely not the last visit to Hyatt Ziva PVR. This all inclusive resort exceeds all expectations. From check in to check out everything was top tier. We were in a Club Tower swim up and highly recommend. Food across all dining experiences, 8 restaurants and numerous bars, was excellent, including room service selections (Casa Grande being our favorite). The attention to detail from all staff was out of this world. We booked a romantic beach dinner that was perfect. Every encounter with staff was awesome but want to give a special shout out to a few of the team. Lizbeth the Concierge in the Club Tower was so sweet and helpful Margarita at spa check in Amalia and Irma were our masseuse's for our perfect couples massage Yosuar the spa attendant, this man provided exceptional attention Noe our server for our romantic beach dinner was fantastic The week flew by and we look forward to planning our next experience at Hyatt Ziva and recommending to all our family and friends !
