Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta - All Inclusive

This was one of the best vacations. Everything is beautiful and the resort has so much to offer. Staff is super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again!

We were at the Ziva from Feb 21 - 28, 2026. Our stay was amazing. The staff was incredible. We had some challenges with the cartel uprising that went on when one of the leaders was taken out on Feb 22nd. We could see the huge plumes of black smoke from the burning vehicle a couple of miles away. The staff was very calm and asked us to please go inside the resort. We were allowed back out to the pool/beach within one hour. We were part of the shelter in place order for 3 days. The staff that was at the resort did a great job of taking care of everyone. Considering all public transportation was shut down for a few days, the staff had to work multiple shifts and sleep at the resort. They all did so with tremendous attitudes. I want to commend Adrian who worked all day at the pool then another shift that night at the restaurant. Also want to compliment Jose for his amazing service. The only disappointment was that during the shelter in place order, the only restaurant option was the buffet. But all things considered, we understood why.

Everything here is always perfect we just love the ziva because of the location , the beach , the staff exceptional The food always fantastic perfect vacation place for us always . The staff always go above and beyond for us and Beatrice is just wonderful !

las albercas están cochinas me tocó varias veces llenas de comida no tienen control con las toallas de la alberca se acaban y ya no hay con q secarse los meseros de las albercas dejan mucho que decir de echo en la alberca de la torre b nunca llegó ningún mesero a ofrecerme algo y los que pasan hasta parece que se esconden no hay snack ,tienes q salir y ir al restaurante a comer pero no hay un snack y me isieron un cobro por si pedía algo adentro el cual se supone que me lo van a reembolsar y aún no me llega ese rembolso

We went for a friend's wedding and didn't have an option to stay somewhere else. Hotel itself is ok, limited facilities and everything is an added charge (e.g., a cabana costs an extra +$150-200 for the day). Food was extremely bland, overcooked, and often inedible, using poor ingredients. It was a shame as Mexican food is delicious but there were very limited Mexican options and nothing local. Drinks were overly sugary and watered down. For the wedding, the place is like a conveyor belt for weddings. We saw at least two a day which were hosted in central areas, such that we would often have to walk through the wedding reception to get to our hotel room. There was zero privacy or intimacy. Our room was lower down (3rd floor) and so noisy at night that we were kept up late and then awoken the next morning to the sound of staff prepping for the next wedding at 5am (fair enough, they have to!) but we would have liked better sound proofing in the rooms.

Great experience! Most of the staff were great at English and truly a delight... especially Rodrigo (bellman). Amenities were also great; the pools are a bit small, but everything was clean. Best of all was the private beach; there are still a few guys selling stuff, but at least they were respectful.

The room was quite dated, felt dirty & tired. They only gave me one towel, one hand towel & one face-cloth until I requested more. The food at the buffet is quite poor, especially when compared with other 5 star resorts - more suited to a 3.5/4 star

Wonderful experience. The location and hotel amenities are excellent. The food was fantastic and the entertainment/activities were a family hit. We were already looking into our next stay before we left.
