"Pleasant"

The property needs maintenance. The room is quite old and the bathroom was smelly. Was clean but smelly.

All the hotel need maintenance. And is not value for money

Location of property was amazing, beautiful beach, like a tropical paradise

Rooms very basic, need a lot of updating, especially the bathroom!!. Mattress was very hard and the room was like an oven, air conditioning needed constantly as no ceiling fan. Breakfast was OK, freshly cooked eggs and amazing banana pancakes but very limited choice and the same every day

the room had a nice view

Really far away from everywhere & its by the run down side of koh lipe & theres alot of steep hills to get there also breakfast i found maggits in the bannana i get this can happen but just shows it wasnt fresh, owners gave me a bad welcoming & made me feel uncomfortable which i dont usually get in Thailand.

"Wonderful Stay at Kathaleen Resort on beautiful Koh Lipe"

Excellent location at the quiet end of Sunrise Beach. Great staff, always service with a smile. Special thanks to Kan, Norbert and Uh. Breakfast was very good especially the fresh fruit. Shuttle was great..

Limited view from our room. Need more lights in the bathroom.

"Good stay"

The beach is fantastic. It is very convenient to borrow towels and snorkeling items from the host. There is a good restaurant nearby. The hosts and staff were very kind and took care about the shuttle from/to jetty.

"Great beach hotel"

The location of the hotel in absolutely superb! They send a car to wait for you when you arrive and the drive to the hotel itself is an experience. You pass the walking street, a jungle, a mountain and then you see the bluest sea and the neat hotel. There is no pool in the hotel, but most excellent sea to swim, snorkel and kayak (the give you the kayaks for free). The room is nice size and decorated in Thai style. It has a good sized balcony as well.

The only thing to improve is the bathroom. It was a little outdated, though everything worked.
