Honestly nothing

The views were amazing, on arrival, the facilities were spotless with a lovely warm welcome. The fire pit kept us away most night because we couldn't keep away from it :) and the hot tub was amazing to sit in and watch the night sky, honestly the most perfect couple getaway I could have asked for in the UK. I would highly recommend the visit and see all of the local villages and lakes which were stunning.

The Shepherd Hut is located in a peaceful, tranquil and secluded spot surrounded by nature and animals. It has a lovely cosy feel, and has been well thought out. It was well equipped with everything we needed, with lots of extra touches that were really appreciated, such as the gorgeous smelling Toiletrees, radio and games.The hot tub and fire pit were very welcome, and really added to our experience. Simon and Viv were very welcoming, friendly hosts. On arrival we were greeted by Simon who showed us around, and recommended some great walks. Viv had kindly made some homemade bread, which went lovely with the eggs and butter provided, along with the Prosecco and Marshmallows also for us to enjoy during our stay! It was lovely to meet the animals, and to get the chance to feed the Alpacas. We really hope to return again in the future!

Nothing to dislike!

It's absolutely perfect. The hosts were wonderful. The accommodation was superb, and the location was sublime 👌 We had the most amazing stay, hosted by the wonderful Simon and Viv. They really did go above and beyond with extra touches of fresh milk, eggs, and homemade bread, plus little bottles of red and white wine. They even gave us a bottle of prosecco when they discovered it was my husband's birthday! We got to feed the alpacas, sheep, and lambs . I even got to cuddle a newborn lamb, which was amazing. The views we woke up to were breathtaking. It really is the perfect location. The "Hut" is beautiful and has been finished to a very high standard. There's plenty of games supplied and a fabulous fire pit to enjoy at night if you fancied toasting marshmallows (also supplied) after going for a dip in the jacuzzi. There's lots of information supplied about local walks and places of interest. We loved our time there and are already planning on returning. I really couldn't recommend Shabby shepherds more.

Absolutely nothing.

It was perfect from start to finish cleaned to the highest of standards and in an amazing location. The owners of the property are such fantastic nothing is too much of an ask and they went above and beyond to make it such a lovely stay for us I can’t recommend this place more

Looks amazing inside and out. People are so lovely and it’s totally worth going. Everything spotless and inside there’s nothing chipped or broken
