"Perfect, little getaway."

Everything. Stayed in Roach, perfect for two, and although small, it wanted for nothing, even had usb charging points. The position is perfect, so peaceful and tucked away, whilst the car and bathroom facilities were just a short walk away. Will definitely be back some time.

"Beautiful premises and surrounding countryside."

Secluded, gorgeous lakeside setting - so restful, loved the fire pit in the evenings on the balcony watching wildlife. Hut had everything we needed and more - huge attention to detail! Dog loved the adjacent 10 acre field to roam in

The owners dog was all too protective - not a place to risk taking children.

We spent two nights at Hastingford Fishery in the Roach shepherd’s hut and had a truly wonderful stay. It’s a peaceful sanctuary, perfect for unwinding. Geraldine and Mark were incredibly kind and thoughtful—outstanding hosts. The hut was spotless and well-equipped, with a smart TV, WiFi, a log burner, fire pit, BBQ, and everything needed for cooking. The bathroom was modern and clean, and the swimming lake was a real bonus. Surrounded by nature, we spotted countless birds. Highly recommended—thank you, Geraldine and Mark, for your amazing hospitality!

Location fantastic. Host brought us warm croissants & hot rolls in the morning, along with orange juice, milk etc
