"A comfortable stay in a lovely Shepherds hut in beautiful tranquil surroundings"

As the name suggests, our stay was very tranquil in beautiful surroundings. Our Shepherds hut was very comfortable, well equipped with a very comfy bed. Our personal shower / toilet block was a short walk away, but this wasn’t a problem, as we had a modern flushable Porto-loo adjacent to the property. There is a very generous welcome pack and a delivery of warm bread and croissants on one morning. Mark dealt with us on our visit , and was very friendly and helpful. If you want to escape to a very quiet and relaxing place, then we can highly recommend this place.

"Peaceful and relaxing stay in a small bit charming shepherds hut"

Everything was perfect for a long weekend with the dog. It was so peaceful! We knew in advance there were limited cooking facilities but actually they were better than we expected. The toilet and shower block is a minute walk away but it is private and there is an emergency toilet for the night should you need. The owners were helpful and easy to deal with. It was lovely to sit outside and watch all the wildlife on the fishing lake. Thoroughly recommend and will definitely be back.

"A slice of tranquility & escapism in the beautiful East Sussex countryside"

We loved everything about our stay! Roach was equipped with everything we needed - a cosy bed, kitchenette & stunning views to top it off! We woke up every morning in awe of where we were. The place was so magical with all the baby geese & ducks on the lake, & the fish under the balcony circling for our crums. We could have stayed forever! We also did lots of fishing during our trip & we had an amazing time! You can tell real love has gone into this wonderful place, from the care of the wildlife & fish, to the care & attentiveness of their guests. Thank you for having us we really did have the very best stay.

Only that we had to leave. We couldn't fault this place AT ALL.

Lovely people stunning place comfortable accommodation easy to get to shop would definitely go back

If I was going to picky I found the shower a bit tricky to keep hot but it wasn't a problem as I say I would definitely return

The welcome package was great with freshly cooked bread rolls. And croissants 🥐. The location was lovely and quiet with great fishing.
