What a beautiful setting. The hosts were charming and my husband managed to catch a few fish. A glorious relaxing break. We'll be back I'm sure

I honestly can't think of anything we disliked apart from not staying longer

Place is nicely looked after, flower pots, mowed lawn on footpaths, Great escape from city life and only short drive away less than 2 hours from London, Cabin was clean, really comfortable bed , most important I felt safe being at remote place And I think it was a really nice touch by providing some eggs milk and hot out of oven bread for the stay. Would definitely come back

I wish the swimming lake had some attention as I would have loved to jump in every morning, and it had some green stuff in , but I quess it's just nature and the time of season But maybe something could be done

The hut was so clean and comfy and had everything we needed for the weekend. beautiful view of the lake. facilities were great with an amazing shower. Geraldine and Mark made us feel very welcome, the warm rolls were a lovely touch and very delicious. Partner fished for a day and half and caught 7 fish on total and he was a very happy chap.

This was a little piece of country paradise. Geraldine and Mark were lovely people and fantastic hosts. They literally thought of everything to make your stay perfect. everything was so clean, private bathrooms were a massive plus for me. The kind welcome pack of hot rolls and croissants, milk, eggs, orange juice was lovely. everything u would need for a perfect stay was thought of .Mark was always around for a chat and any help needed. the surroundings were just beautiful. nothing to fault about anything - superb place and we will return one day x my dog had the time of his life running through the enclosed fields he rates it 10/10 too 😊🐶

Had a fantastic stay in "Roach" overlooking the pond, and although the weather wasn't great it didn't detract from the beauty of the place, if anything it's made us want to come back again in the summer. Lovely hosts, attentive and friendly, would highly recommend.

Nothing, everything was thought of.
