It was beautifully clean with everything we needed. We were surrounded by birds, geese, ducks and rooks. Very happy there and warm.

What a great find, we loved it here, it was so peaceful, the hut absolutely lovely as was the location. the facilities were really clean, and the owner s were fantastic, there if you needed, but also respected your privacy There were also really thoughtful touches to make your stay easy , including the supplied , milk butter, rolls, plus games, TV to keep you entertained. Plus of course the cosy woodburning, with logs, firelighters and kindling. Will definitely returning, thanks for the great stay

Absolutely nothing

Mark came out to greet us when we arrived and gave us a full tour. Everything was insanely clean (I'm a cleaner myself and have very high standards), everything was just so beautiful and well kept, warm and cosy. We casually mentioned it was our honeymoon and Mark brought us a bottle of prosecco, which was lovely. They also offered to take us to the supermarket for supplies as we didn't have transportation. The surrounding environment is BEAUTIFUL. Rolling hills, pastures and woodland, which just calmed me right down. We had an amazing time, and I couldn't recommend it enough. Great honeymoon.

Literally nothing. Can't think of a single thing

Absolutely everything! Beautiful location, wonderful hosts, lovely accommodation! We were greeted by Mike on arrival who welcomed us with fresh rolls and croissants straight from the oven. Our shepherd's hut was clean and cosy with everything we could possibly need for our stay. The whole place is so peaceful. We watched and fed the fish from our decking and admired the beautiful view. At night we used the log burner, played scrabble and viewed the stars before getting a great night's sleep in the wonderfully comfortable bed. Thank you Mike and Geraldine for the most wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.

The hut is in such a pretty location, and so quiet! The view was beautiful.

Stunning location with a whole plethora of wildlife right Infront of you while you hang on the edge of the lake watching the hundreds of fish swirling in the water while the heron does the same for other reasons lol and a great host that looked after us from start to finish nothing was too much for him thanks for a great stay our new location to get away from it all, five stars without a doubt, thanks Mike
