El personal fue muy amable. El lugar es hermoso, la habitación estaba impecable y la comida muy rica.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt im Regenwald und man hat einen phantastischen Blick in die Region. Wer die Natur mag ist hier genau richtig.

Die Dusche hätte etwas wärmer sein können.

Eine gute Unterkunft in idyllischer Waldlage in bergischer Landschaft. Mit sehr gutem Frühstück und ebensolchem Restaurant

You truly feel like you're far from civilization, in the forest. The cabin is rustic - there are small gaps in the wood, you're far from everyone else, but you have all you need. When I first arrived the power was out on the mountain - not just at the cabins, but the shops nearby - but the staff kept me abreast of the situation, along with an estimated time power would be restored (which was just about spot on). There was a baby shower being held while I was there - felt like the lodge was a well integrated part of the community, with everyone knowing everyone else.

If you aren't steady on your feet, this spot probably isn't for you. It's closer to a campground than a hotel - there's a little bit of easy hiking back and forth from the cabins down below where I stayed. Not challenging, not far, but I wouldn't want to do it if I had any balance issues.
