An excellent experience from start to finish. The location in Mandaram Nuwara is absolutely breathtaking and definitely deserves a place on your travel bucket list.This property is a tea factory converted into a hotel. Surrounded by lush tea estates and misty mountains, the atmosphere is peaceful and truly special. The tea experience was fascinating and well organized, giving great insight into the journey from leaf to cup. The food was also delicious and well prepared, making the visit even more enjoyable.The rooms were very clean and equipped with everything you need. A special thank you to Mr. Vinoth for his friendly and professional service. His hospitality made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mandaram Nuwara.

Great experience: we stayed in the hotel as part of our round trip and had a great stay. The hotel provides a nice experience and is build within an old tea factory. The food was great , the different types of tea very tasty and the staff was extraordinary. We felt very welcomed ans the service was great at all times! We definitely recommend to try this different experience in the middle of a beautiful tea area

We have just stayed here for one night and definitely should have booked more. The whole stay was amazing. The rooms, food and hospitality was fabulous. It’s certainly a hidden gem. The ride up and views are breathtaking. Would definitely recommend.

The staff are hands down the reason this place is so good. They are unbelievably friendly and helpful, and we felt incredibly welcome and looked after. The breakfast and food is especially good, price is right and plenty of choice. They were really friendly with all our family and our 2 children (age 1 and 3). Extremely accommodating.

Like most pools in Sri Lanka, it is not heated but still just about usable in the middle of the day when it’s bright sunshine, but bit too cold in the morning and evening. Makes for great photos because it’s an infinity pool looking out over the mountains.

I strongly disagree with the previous review. My stay was a disaster from start to finish. The bedroom had cockroaches, the location is actually a 2-hour drive from the main city (nowhere near what the ad claimed), and the water in the rooms is ice-cold. The food was passable at best, but definitely not worth the price. Save yourself the disappointment, don’t go.
