Greenwood safari camp

Magdy was incredibly helpful with organising a driver for us and activities at the camp. The camp itself was lovely and we enjoyed being able to walk down to the lake to watch the hippos.

First of all, the accommodation is directly next to the Talek Gate. We had a tent and it was clean, also the shower and toilet was clean. Magdy was always available in WhatsApp and he took so much time to answer all of our questions. We really appreciate this! He also organised a Safari for us, which we could also share with another couple and it was amazing! The day of our departure we needed to leave early and asked if we could have breakfast at 6am, which was absolutely no problem. We really enjoyed our stay here and the whole stuff was welcoming and friendly. We really recommend this accommodation!

We liked everything! It would just be nice, if there would be some paper towels in the washrooms to dry the hands after washing. Otherwise, everything was amazing!

All great staff, Magdy the owner, was helpful all time, just getting me to drive from JK airport to the Lodge, in a private drive, go &back with Steve, nice taxi driver, great persons all them, I have met, during this 8 days in Masai Mara, so friendly and extremely kind, also, really important ,the incredible location, just two minutes to Talek main gate, , which able to do wonderful game drives, without not been tired coming from NBO, I've done 5 ones consecutively, really exciting, the prices offers Greenwood are really competitive, the breakfast and meals are nice ones, Lucy, nice cook skills, just wondering been back...

Facilities were excellent. Everyone from Magdy to all the staff and our Safari guide Alex were super people. Thanks for being so accommodating and showing me and my partner an experience we will never forget.

Good location. Extremely friendly staff, that tries to care for you. The food was good.

Lack of clean water (the water in sink was brown). The tents lack any ventilation, you are sealed completely insode once they are closed. The result is a completely humid sleep. Pool written in description, but was closed.

The property is in a beautiful location surrounded by lush greenery. The mornings and nights are particularly enchanting, with the sounds of animals and occasional sightings, adding a touch of wilderness to the experience. Its proximity to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, just a 3-minute drive, was incredibly convenient. Additionally, Mr. Magdy was exceptionally helpful in arranging transportation, making everything seamless. The food was absolutely delicious, and I must commend the chefs for their amazing culinary skills. As a chai lover, I couldn’t resist asking for more along with Banana Fritters 😌😌😌. A special shoutout to Mr. Ben, the night guard, whose presence felt safe and well taken care throughout my stay.

Such an amazing experience! The staff were so friendly and accommodating during our stay. The food was great every day. Both of our drivers were very knowledgable and our host Magdy was always willing to help. It was very seamless to book our game drives and private transfers with the host. We would definitely return and stay here again!

Very friendly staff, felt safe all the time, Organisation of the safari game was stressless, food was more than enough. Magdy and the entire team makes sure that you have a great experience. There are baboons around, which would enter your tent if you leave food inside, but in the end, it’s part of the fun. Also got picked up from them in Nairobi, driver Steve was very friendly and also the safari driver, Alex, is very professional and gave his best that we see as many animals as possible.

they had a little issue with the WiFi while we stayed there but Magdy made sure that we could connect at least from the reception. Not a big deal tho.
