Smiley's Homestay

1) I gestori sono gentilissimi, si fermano volentieri a parlare e dare consigli 2) posizione strategica sia vicina al centro sia alla collina da cui ammirare tramonto/panorama 3)su richiesta hanno messo a disposizione sia guida per il monte sibayak che autista per il lago Toba. Soddisfatto di entrambi, soprattutto del tour al Sibayak e alla piscine d'acqua calda

Stavano facendo i lavori di ristrutturazione e anziché chiudere la struttura mi ha Bo semplicemente avvisato dei lavori poco prima di arrivare. La conseguenza. :Per due giorni mi hanno continuamente chiuso l'acqua. Grande disagio. Inoltre non era possibile aprire le finestre per via della polvere e del fumo dei lavoratori

The receptionist, Putra, was lovely & went out of his way. The guides, Augus & Primo, arranged via Smileys to go up volcano by motorcycle were local & genuine, a pleasure. The breakfast (& advertised bread) at home stay was fantastic!

Room was clean & spacious but compared to others in this price bracket was not as modern and expensive.

Highly recommend! We stayed at Smiley's Homestay just one night and took a trip with Smiley to the vulcano and we truly regret we did not stay longer! The place is located centrally, next to down town, just a walking distance! The room was fully equipped with private bathroom. Smiley and his wife and friends are extremely nice and helpful. We felt very comfortable from the moment we stepped in, we had a great, really! great sunrise trip to the vulcano with further sightseeing afterwards! Smiley is a very knowledgeable and has a great expertise of the place so it's a pleasure to have him as a guide! Surly come back, and surly stay a bit longer next time!

Good location, helpful with booking a tour and transfer.

Very noisy building work next to property, very noisy road. Away from main homestay. Tour seemed expensive for what it was. Room very basic. Bathroom pipes were loud and it flooded. Staff not the friendliest.

Heel aardige en behulpzame mensen. Het lekkerste ontbijt ooit met zelfgemaakt brood en bananenbrood.

De kamer is niet heel groot, maar je hoeft er ook alleen maar te slapen.

Cecilia is fantastic and very helpful.

The owner is super nice, she was giving good advices, and she can organise whatever you want. Breakfast was excellent. The trip organised to the vulcano was great for my boy. The room was very clean.

It was a super basic room, with tiny toilet and a shower just above the toilet. It was also very loud with traffic from the road, and no view. But it was clean, so ok for 2 nights
