The location was perfect, just 13 minutes walking from all the touristic atractions. The room was very nice and cossy and we have doughnuts as welcoming gift from Peter. He is very helpful and send us message to know if we were doing ok. Perfect for a weekend in York. All perfect.

Nothing bad if I am honest. I would like if the check out was a little bit later than 10.00am but we knew from the beginning so not a big issue at all.

Great location, walking distance to all attractions and restaurants. Nice clean room and bathroom (was shared) . Access to the garden.

Peter greeted me on arrival & took my luggage up one floor to my room. He showed me around & made me a cappucino while I settled in. :) The room was spotlessly clean, mini fridge w/a bottle of milk which was a first for me (better than those little milk capsules). Tea, coffee,hot chocolate on supply plus a delicious biscuit.The shared bathroom was modern w/a large bath & separate shower. I never had to wait to use the bathroom even though the room next door was occupied. Short walk into the city of York. Supermarket 100m away, cafes & restaurants one street over. Quiet street w/easy parking outside (permit lodged by Peter). View over backyards, saw Peter's dog Yoda playing - I never heard Yoda barking (just in case this may worry you). I loved the cherry toilet brush and stand, never seen one before :)

The location is good and quiet. Not far from central and station. Super friendly staff, cozy and clean room!

Top floor is not super convenient to heavy luggage or people who need wheelchair access

The accommodation was very clean, and I felt comfortable and safe during my entire stay. Peter, the host, was very communicative and made sure that all our needs were met. The room was well-equipped, with fantastic options on the TV (Netflix, Prime, Samsung Plus, and more). I was also impressed by the fresh milk kept in a glass bottle in the room's mini-fridge, which was a nice touch. The complimentary parking was very conveniently located and I didn't need to worry about my car. Finally, it is only a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of town and many of York's main attractions.

The only slight problem was the noise from the mini fridge. A light sleeper may find it hard to get to sleep in that room.
