The bed was comfortable, and it was affordable.

The facility needs serious renovation. There was glass in the parking area, insulation poking out from under the baseboards, walls had cracks and poorly made repairs. Room was 100% not comparable to the pictures they show. Has potential to be really nice, but, it's not at that point.

My son and I stayed there on our way to the eclipse. The room was very spacious. Good wifi. The house was fully booked and yet it was very calm and quiet. The house has a lot of character, a lot more interesting than staying at a hotel, and for the same price it's an easy choice in my opinion. The owner told my son and I about 2 really cool spots in the area - the waterfall and the mudlavia spring\abandoned resort. Those two spots became a major highlight of our eclipse trip! I also left a very expensive electronic in the room and the staff promptly shipped it to me! Now that's integrity! If you like unique and interesting experiences this is the place for you!

This Inn might be beautiful someday. You can tell they’re trying to turn this place into a grand historical inn. But it is definitely not that now! The place is dirty, cold, very poorly restored/maintained, and we didn't feel safe or private in our room. A few positives: the room is spacious, tv worked, and the bed was comfortable.

Our room was dirty. I didn’t want to walk on the floor in my bare feet. Also, there is no way to secure your room when you’re in it. Anyone who knows the code can get in. It would be so easy for them to put a “flip lock” on the door so the room feels more secure while you’re in it. Our room was cold when we’re there in the Spring. I can’t imagine how cold it would be in the winter.

This place was DISGUSTING!! So much so … that we didn’t even stay there. The smell is that of a funeral home. Because it USED TO BE A FUNERAL HOME!! No place to hang clothes. The 2nd door to our room had just a screen door lock on it. The fridge smelled HORRIBLE!! Like you could smell it before you even opened it. When we texted the lady to tell her we wouldn’t be staying and the reasons why, she said “Chris” would be up in a minute to adjust the temperature. We asked for a refund. She said not gonna happen. Just NASTY!!

Nice relaxing stay in a beautiful and historic home.

This historic building has undergone a spectacular restoration, but it still shows many unflattering signs of its age, such as the lack of en suite bathrooms. The owner and staff were amazing to work with.
