"Mount'n mist"

We had a wonderful time at the Mount’n mist. The view from our terrace is phenomenal. We can even see and hear the waterfall. The hosts are incredibly nice. The made us a home cooked dinner which was super tasty. The room is comfortable and clean, with best Wifi we hd so far. We wish we could have stayed longer!

We’ve been here several times, and always love to come back. The owners are super nice and kind people and for us this location is unbeatable. It’s far enough from the buzz of Ella town down below, but still close enough to hike up or down (20 mimutes), also the owners are kind enough to provide tuk-tuk rides on very reasonable price too. The house is in the middle of a tea garden with avocado and jackfruit trees, almost on top of the hill, sometimes covered in clouds. The room is nice, the bed is comfy, the terrace is unbeatable, there’s hot water. And it’s super quiet. Highly recommended.

Need to coordinate tuktuk to go uphill. Going downhill is pretty easy.

An amazing stay. Looked after from the moment I booked. Really good communication throughout my whole stay. Great privacy. I was in a beautiful new room. The view was stunning. Breakfast + dinner were both really good. The portion sizes are huge. Sat looking at the views. Arrival drinks and cakes. Picked up from the train station + dropped back off when I was leaving. Great location, quiet and lots of birds around and mostly endemic types.

Little tough to get there but all have similar access in Ella.

Beautiful and peaceful location on a mountain, away from the bustle of Ella city. Big and clean room with a comfortable bed. The hosts are very welcoming and offered to drive me to the major attractions by Tuk Tuk for a fair price. The included breakfast was amazing and plentiful, just as the additional dinner which is also very affordable. It's even better having the food while enjoying the mountain view and forest sounds. Overall, amazing value for money. I highly recommend staying here!

Location is a bit remote, but if you're looking for silence and relaxation, it's just perfect.
