Best friendly and kind and helpful family. clean rooms and safe place and safe parking. and closed to 9 arch and Elle railway station. Hope to next Elle Journey. They gave us very tasty dinner and breakfast. You can arrange your meal from them with good price.

We had an amazing stay at Ella Festoon, the hosts were so friendly and kind, the room is super spacious with two large private terraces to enjoy the view, comfortable bed and everything super clean. The breakfast was delicious and always plenty. The hosts also organised tuktuk trips for us, gave us great recommendations to explore the area and drove us to/from town when we needed a shuttle. You can also walk to Ella city in 15ish minutes via the rail tracks or get a tuktuk in town. Highly recommend - many thanks !

Location is amazing,close to everithing, hosts are the best, super helpfull, and nice people.You cant meet so good people very often, I felt like in family. Room is very simple,but if you are going not to sit in your room hoping to enjoy wiev from your window ,but to see surroundings, you dont need anything more.Its totally fine, close to hotel is amazing infinity pool.Its close to 9 arch bridge, waterfalls, tea plantations are around, Little Adams peak also.

We’ve stayed 2 nights at Ella Festoon and it was amazing. The host family was great, from their place, you can reach the city center in 5-min walk and nine arch bridge in about 20-min walk. The room was clean, spacious with good equipment (mini-fridge, boiler, air dryer, etc), the bed was comfy with a mosquito net. The bathroom was clean also and roomy. The view from the balcony always so beautiful. It also close to some tea plantations. The host family was very helpful, pick us up in Ella if needed, arranging tuktuk when we needed to visit the area. They welcomed us with tea and Sri Lankan treats. They provided extra bottles of water if needed. The breakfast were delicious and really generous, it changed everyday (Sri lankan and western style). We both recommend this place, we’ll go back there if we come back in Ella!

The breakfast was delicious with an assortment of traditional food. We had booked a tea plantation tour that morning so the breakfast was arranged early for us. Also helped us arrange a transfer to the airport. Very lovely family. We will be back. :)

This was such a hidden gem for us, we were made to feel so welcome and the view from our room was stunning. Breakfast was so large we even had it for lunch as well. Highly recommend.

Our stay in Ella Festoon was great. The family was so kind to us. Acommodation was very pleasant and comfortable. They serve very tasty breakfast, even when we had a long trip starting in early morning, they prepared a breakfast for us to take it with us. They transported us to the city and from the city centre when we needed it, but also showed us shortcut, which takes about 10 minutes to the city centre. They also had good tips for trips. Simply, we had wonderful experience in Ella with the acommodation and family which was taking care of us. We felt like old friends. We surely recommend acommodation in Ella Festoon!

The family is very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect with a magnificent view from the balcony. It looks like a long walk to the town center (25 minutes according to google maps) but ask the owner. There is a shortcut of only 10-15 minutes walk, making it the perfect quiet location close to town.

We should have stayed there longer.
