Oolala - Your lake house in the center of Udaipur

Beautiful views and incredible location

Lovely individually decorated room, spectacular view over the lake. Great balcony. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Well equipped bathroom and toiletries. Caring and organised owners. Great breakfast. Walking distance to the centre of Udaipur. One of the best places we stopped in India.

We had a wonderful stay for four nights. The accommodations in this small and personable guest house are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location is amazing, with a rooftop patio that has a great view of the lakes. The hosts, Lovely and Jitu, and the caretaker, Manish, were kind and always helpful. We highly recommend Oolala!

Oolala is situated in the old city of Udaipur and is super near all the popular tourist attractions. Lovely, Jitu and Manish are fantastic hosts, they will always make sure that I am feeling comfortable, well-fed every morning, and safe. I certainly didn’t expect a goodbye gift and that means a lot! Room and toilet are huge and clean, it has everything! I faced a small problem at the washroom but it was fixed really quickly. The white room gets a really nice lake view and I get to see fireworks at night too :)

This is a small guesthouse , 4 rooms . The couple Lovely and Jitu are very welcoming hosts, they do everything to make your stay perfect. Manish was also very kind and helpfull . I was sick and he made me plain rice to get better . I had to stay in bed for 24hours so i CAN say the beds are very confortable. Thanks again

This place was delightful. It had excellent views over the lake, a wonderful breakfast, very helpful staff and lots of nice touches. By this point I had been to several hotels in different locations over two and a half weeks and this was the first place that had everything it listed on its booking.com facilities, including a hairdryer! Lots of nice touches and the owner was very helpful, even booking a ticket on an Indian website for me as the website wouldn't take my card. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Udaipur.

The owners Lovely and Jitu are perfect hosts who are keen to give their guests the best possible experience while in Udaipur. Everything from check in to check out was perfectly handled. Breakfast was fresh and personal to you once they knew what you liked The Green room was clean and spacious with great views over the lake (facing away from the city) Less than 10 minutes walk to okd Town centre or a 3 minute tut tut!

Despite its secluded location at the end of a narrow alley it was a little noisy at night. However Divali may have been responsible for that and we still slept well in with A/C and ceiling fans in our room

Oolala was such a beautifully decorated and appointed property. We loved the rooftop at sunset. Spectacular. The breakfasts were delicious with a wonderful assortment of homemade treats plus western style dishes too. Lovely and Jitu amazed us by giving each couple a gorgeous gift - a marble elephant ornament. Just so sweet and generous.
