Oolala - Your lake house in the center of Udaipur

Loved the hospitality, hygiene, comfort and safety offered by the homestay owners Jitu and Lovely. The homestay is a home away from home located near the lake side and one can access most of the places around on foot. As a couple on our leisure trip to Udaipur, we loved staying at this place. Not to forget, the breakfast that's made by Lovely herself is a delight every morning!

The hostel is centrally located. Many sightseeing spots are in walking distance. The hostel owners Lovely and Jitu will inform you about many possibilities for sightseeing and will support you, if needed. We liked the breakfast. The hostel is located in a quiet side street. The room was clean. Everything was OK for us.

Great location, amazing breakfast and staff

We were nicely welcomed by Lovely and Jitu. Lovely was extremely warm and provide us with many many details about Udaipur and its greatness. Gave us top tips! But unfortunately we could not stay the night. When we checked in in our beautiful room with an incredible view, we realised that we had been robbed from a money exchange place back in Varanasi . And so we had to book new flights and go back to Varanasi. This was a very unfortunate situation for us, as at the end we did not enjoy Udaipur the way we wanted. Nevertheless, Lovely and Jitu were extremely helpfull and tireless with our situation and provide us many advices. For that we are very thankful! We hope one day we ll be able to return!

Firstly, Udaipur is the best city in Rajasthan, hands down. And secondly, oolala is just amazing. You get what it feels like to live in a home within the city. The view was just fantastic. However, the best part are the hosts, Jitu and Lovely. Wonderful people who made us feel like we were visiting family. The next time we come back, we’d stay here longer.

This property is perfect but even better are Lovely, Jitu and Manish who will take excellent care of you when you stay!

Nothing

Some of the best hosts we've ever had. We were looked after so well from the moment we arrived, and the breakfasts were outstanding. The hosts Lovely and Jittu assisted us with anything we needed and their staff member Manish was so helpful and friendly during our entire stay. The location is ideal, tucked up an alleyway in the old town that then looks out over one of Udaipur's beautiful lakes. Being off the main street is nice too as you can escape the wild traffic a bit. From what I could tell, every room has amazing views of the lake, which is easily the highlight of this property. Rooms were nicely decorated and clean. The mattress was basic but did the job for the few days we were there. Large and clean bathroom also. You would need to be able to move freely up and down stairs to stay here, as I didn't see any ground floor rooms.

This is a beautiful guesthouse next to the big lake and just a quick walk to all there is to do and see in Udaipur. The room was very comfortable and the view was stunning. Although my favorite part was the homemade breakfast each morning.
