I really enjoyed my 2 night stay. These people are so kind! I ate my dinner there twice and the seafood Manu serves is great! The location is short distance from the beach. Silent beach is close by and walkable, but I rented a scooter. Shower is cold, but clean, just like the whole room. AC works perfect.

Great accommodation! The owners are a very pleasant young family. They always do their best to make you feel great. The room is big and perfectly clean. The location is also good it is a short walk from everywhere. Thank you for your hospitality it was great at your place. 👍👍👍

I really enjoyed the 8 days at Menaka. It was a really good atmosphere. The room was well equipped. The lounge area is inviting. Manu and the team (wife and friend) harmonize. The price is fair. 5 minutes to the center, the bus station and the beach. If you need something or want something changed, ask. Manu rents scooters inexpensively and organizes tours. So, go ahead, book please. You deserve it... For real

We had our eye on a hotel in Tangalla but it was already booked. So we chose Menaka Home Stay and it was a great decision. We were supposed to stay here only 2-3 nights and continue to visit other cities in the south. However, after the first night we changed our plans and decided to stay here until end of our 9 night stay. A wonderful young couple who run this house. They have a sweet dog, Blacky, who kept her head on my lap during evening conversations. As soon as I stopped petting her, she nuzzled her and demanded that I continue petting her. They are great cooks and cook amazing seafood and fish. Manu is a fisherman and he took us with his fishing boat. We caught fish for the first time and it was a wonderful new experience. Manu will help you with everything you want and will organize trips in the area. Manu's wife Sashi kept asking if we needed anything. The rooms are modest but clean, there is air conditioning and hot water. We have been to 5 hotels in Sri Lanka before, but the water was cold or only lukewarm. You have everything you need for a wonderful holiday. We never return to the same places, but here we will make an exception and if only God This will allow us to come back willingly.!!! Manu and Sashi are wonderful people, so don't read any further and book your stay with them without hesitation. The only reason I left was because I wanted to be closer to the ocean.
