Castlebaldwin Country Residence

The host was a very pleasant chatty wee man who has lots of great stories to tell of the various sections of his life from all corners of the globe and closer to home

The location was a bit isolated and for a non driver like myseld if you missed the 1 bus that passed through the village you have the option of a taxi or a 5 hour wait for the next bus

Lovely Host Damian made sure we had a great stay! Nice and clean rooms, very quiet and good breakfast. Can’t recommend it enough

The host was very helpful, welcoming and accommodating. He gave us a lift to collect our car the next morning.

Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Easy parking. Damian was a nice host. Good location for Lough Arrow. There is a pub restaurant Mc Dermott's close by open five days a week.

Maybe a TV in the room. Not much to see in Castlebaldwin itself.

Did not like it except for the bedroom view onto a field containing horses and their foals.

No hot water to wash or shower unless host was told a time it was required. Shoes had to be removed before entering the property. No tea making facilities in the room. No TV in the room, private bathroom was located outside of the bedroom with a very squeaky door that was so loud you tried to avoid going to the bathroom during the night for fear of waking the other guests who were staying. Bedroom door had to be pushed had to be able to lock it. (TLC required for both doors) Meals had to be eaten at a communal kitchen table with the host. Tea was available to be made, provided you went down to the kitchen. Location of property in a corner of a housing estate. None of which were stated to us before or after booking the property.
