Good value for money, nice and quiet area. Host and his family are really helpful and have great knowledge of the region. Much appreciated the passion in promoting this beautiful area of Java. Recomended if want to fully experience Banyuwangi.

Fendy, the host, is amazing. He will help you plan and organize anything you may need at cheap or reasonable rates.

You need to be aware this is a true Homestay, meaning you will share the house with the host's family and you will be sleepong in the next room to other guests and the family, sharing the bathroom. Boom beach is 10 minutes away if you rent a motorbike (100k per day) but walking there will take long.

Fendy is an amazing person, he knows so much about nature and we learned a lot from him. His family is lovely, also the house. We went snorkelling and saw amazing corals, black tips sharks. On the way back from Ijen, he showed us plantations and we went to a waterfall. We also went for the turtles sanctuary and it was magical, Fendy knows all the animals of the forest so he took time to show us and explain to us. He really respect the nature and that’s amazing. We loved our stay and we are not ready to forget about it 🥰

We stayed 5 nights with Fendy and his family. Fendy is making sure that our stay will be unforgettable. We did a snorkeling tour, Baluran national park tour, the Sakumade turtles tour and the Ijen tour with him. Everything is well organized and Fendy's always giving us more informations and stops at some places to show us a lot of things. We learned a lot with him. He is passionate about nature and animals. Our family will always remember seeing the baby turtles with Fendy! The homestay is a real homestay since you live in one of the three rooms that the family is renting. There is one room that have air conditionning for a little supplement. The place is comfortable, clean and it is perfect to do one or many activities that Fendy is offering. Finally, if you booked activities with him, you're sure to have an unforgettable time. He is giving all his energy and all his knowledge for his guests.

The kindness with which I was treated by Fendi was the stuff of solo female traveler dreams. I was met with a lovely warm welcome, where Fendi helped me figure out a plan for my stay in East Java. I was trying to meet up with some friends to split the cost of my tour to Ijen and Bromo but when that didn’t work out Fendi organised a really good price for myself to go alone! He also picked me up some tasty mie goreng from his restaurant and personally drove me to an atm to get cash out when I was low. He really goes above and beyond for all his guests and I hope he knows how unbelievably grateful we all are that there are people like him in the world 🙌🏼 The room itself was clean, with a comfy bed. It is quite warm in the room as most of the reviews say but it didn’t bother me at all, there’s a fan provided and I slept like a baby!

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property. I can wholeheartedly recommend this stay.
